Souq Al-Mubarakiya Game

In the heart of Souq Al-Mubarakiya, three merchants — each specializing in a different trade — compete to become the biggest tycoon (Hamour).

But don’t forget, the Municipality is watching over every deal!

Game Concept:

The game revolves around merchants and the municipality.

It’s designed for 3 to 4 players.

Starting Setup:

Each player receives:

• 1 bill of 10 KD
• 3 bills of 5 KD
• 5 bills of 1 KD
  Total starting cash: 30 KD per player

Each player draws 6 cards from the draw pile.

One player is randomly selected to hold the Municipality Card.

Municipality Rules:

• In a 3-player game, the Municipality Card rotates every 3 rounds.
• In a 2-player game, it rotates every 2 rounds.

Gameplay:

• The player to the right of the one holding the Municipality Card starts the round.
• They may exchange cards from their hand with the draw pile or the discard pile (called “Al-Mashab”).
• After exchanging, the player selects goods they want to “sell” and places them in an envelope:
  
• Minimum: 1 card
• Maximum: 5 cards

Then the next player (clockwise or counterclockwise) takes their turn to exchange and submit goods.

Note: The Municipality Card does not rotate until the designated number of rounds has passed.
